12 years ago my husband and I lived here in Reno and enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle, but his job moved us out of state for several years and after bouncing around from state to state we knew we wanted to come back to Reno to stay.  I had been around horses since I was a child and just knew that someday I would have my own ranch.   My brother-in-law found the land that he said was "perfect" so we flew out and together made the decision to start a stable business and live out our dream.  My brother-in-law, Matt and his kids, Shelby & Kyle live in their house on the property and my husband Pete and I (Dusty) and kids, Sean, Alyssa & Austin live in the other house.  We have the comfort and security of knowing that someone is there on the property almost all the time.  Our property is 10 acres, about 2 acres wide and 5 acres deep and backs up to BLM land that surrounds the lake. 

We have been boarding horses for 5 years now and have both long term boarders and short term, (those that have horses in training and board with us for several months).  We even have "snowbird" horses, that need a place to stay during the winter months while all the stables in the Tahoe area are shut down for the season.  We are friendly, easy going and enjoy a family atmosphere at our place. 

We are still in the building phase and will be adding more stalls, shelters, gravel, sand, electrical...ect... as we go.  We are constantly striving to make improvements.

NEW:  WE JUST ADDED AN INDOOR HEATED WASH RACK AND A OUTDOOR WASH RACK!    ELECTRICAL & WATER LINES WERE JUST INSTALLED IN JULY SO THERE ARE PLENTY OF WATER SPICKETS AND POWER TO THE BARN.
